Rathfinny Summer Tours & Tastings
Small-group guided tours and tastings running Thursday to Sunday through the summer season, showing how Rathfinny makes its world-class vintage Sussex Sparkling wines. The experience combines a walk through the vines with an extended tasting of Sussex wines overlooking the Cuckmere Valley. Booking is recommended.
Seven Sisters Sunset Cruise
An evening RIB cruise along the Sussex coast to view the Seven Sisters cliffs as the sky fills with sunset colours. Departure times vary through the summer to track the changing sunset. Runs 1 hour, up to 11 passengers, all ages, with wildlife more active at dusk (seals, porpoise, seabirds).
H.H. Evans Centenary Exhibition
Centenary exhibition of pen and ink images of Seaford by 19th century local artist Harry Harrison Evans, in the Kathleen Aires room. Museum open Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 4pm, Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm, and Bank Holidays.

A 40 minute RIB boat ride from Newhaven to the foot of the Seven Sisters cliffs, set to music. No trips on 13 August.
Seven Sisters Boat Tour - Newhaven
A 90 minute cruise from Newhaven Marina along the Sussex coast past Tide Mills, Seaford Bay, Splash Point, Hope Gap and Cuckmere Haven to the Seven Sisters cliffs, with tales of the area's smuggling past and wildlife spotting for seals, porpoises and seabirds. Weather permitting, passengers can swim beneath the cliffs. Up to 11 passengers on a luxury Italian RIB, ages 2 and up, bookable daily through 11 October.
Seven Sisters Sunset Cruise
A relaxing one hour evening cruise from Newhaven Marina past Seaford Bay to the Seven Sisters cliffs at sunset. Keep an eye out for seals, porpoise and seabirds, often more active in the evening light, and feel free to bring a drink aboard. Runs on Friday and Saturday evenings through the season, with the departure time tracking sunset (8pm in July, moving to 6pm by late September). Up to 11 passengers, all ages. Booking essential.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing on Seaford Seafront
A free, family friendly viewing event on Seaford seafront for the deep partial solar eclipse, with the Sun around 91 percent obscured by the Moon at maximum. Committee members will hand out eclipse glasses and set up solar observing equipment, including a hydrogen alpha solar telescope plus additional telescopes and cameras configured for safe solar viewing. The eclipse begins at 6.17pm, peaks at 7.13pm and ends at 8.06pm. Parking nearby is free.
Lucy Lapwing: Brilliant Beasts and Birds Session
Naturalist, broadcaster and RSPB and WWT ambassador Lucy Lapwing returns to Seaford for a morning session on the Esplanade, with bird identification, bug hunting and moths from the overnight trap. Part of a full day of free Lucy Lapwing events organised by Seaford Action for Nature.

HIKE 22km Seven Sisters Coastal, The Towering Chalk Sea Cliffs of Sussex
A guided 14 mile (22km) hike along the Seven Sisters chalk cliffs, starting from Seaford and following the South Downs Way past Cuckmere Haven, Birling Gap and Belle Tout Lighthouse to finish in Eastbourne. Graded intermediate to challenging with 580m of ascent and 5.5 to 6.5 hours of walking. The group meets at London Victoria at 08:20 and travels down by train, which is included in the price.
