White Horse Hill, Seven Sisters and Beachy Head Coastal Expedition (30K)
A strenuous 30km point-to-point coastal hike from Seaford to Eastbourne across the South Downs National Park, taking in Seaford Head, the Cuckmere Valley, the Litlington White Horse, the Seven Sisters (Brass Point and Went Hill), Beachy Head and the Holywell descent into Eastbourne. The group meets at London Victoria Station at 08:00 by the information booth near platform 12, catching the 08:24 train and changing at Lewes for Seaford. The hike itself starts around 09:50 at Seaford Station and finishes around 19:00 in Eastbourne, with a packed lunch stop on the cliffs and an optional pub drink at the end. Approximately 8.5 hours of walking with around 1000m of ascent. Hike leader: Abhi (07865278687).

Friday Walk: Alfriston-Rathfinny Circular (5.5 miles)
A moderate walk of about 5.5 miles from Alfriston, climbing into open country to the Rathfinny Winery, through the estate with a stop for coffee at their hut, and returning to Alfriston along the river. The walk starts at 10am. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, on lead through the Rathfinny estate.
