Vanguard Way 6: Berwick to Newhaven
The sixth and final leg of the Vanguard Way long distance path, walking from Berwick station through the Cuckmere valley countryside to the trail's end at Newhaven. Organised by the Gay Men's Walking Group; meeting details visible to Meetup members.

Seven Sisters Boat Tour - Newhaven
Seven Sisters boat trip with Maverick Boat Adventures, departing from Newhaven Marina. The RIB cruises along the Sussex coastline past Tide Mills, Seaford Bay, Splash Point, Hope Gap and Cuckmere Haven to the Seven Sisters cliffs, with tales of the area's smuggling past. Duration 1.5 hours. Ages 2 and over.

Friday Walk: Alfriston-Rathfinny Circular (5.5 miles)
A moderate walk of about 5.5 miles from Alfriston, climbing into open country to the Rathfinny Winery, through the estate with a stop for coffee at their hut, and returning to Alfriston along the river. The walk starts at 10am. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, on lead through the Rathfinny estate.
