Open day at the beautifully restored Bishopstone Station, run by the Friends of Bishopstone Station volunteer group. Come and explore the historic art deco station building and learn about the local railway heritage of this unique community-run station.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing on Seaford Seafront
A free, family friendly viewing event on Seaford seafront for the deep partial solar eclipse, with the Sun around 91 percent obscured by the Moon at maximum. Committee members will hand out eclipse glasses and set up solar observing equipment, including a hydrogen alpha solar telescope plus additional telescopes and cameras configured for safe solar viewing. The eclipse begins at 6.17pm, peaks at 7.13pm and ends at 8.06pm. Parking nearby is free.
