Bishopstone Station Restored Waiting Room Opening
Friends of Bishopstone Station open the newly restored Platform Waiting Room to visitors, featuring a permanent exhibition on the history of the Ouse Estuary including Tide Mills, the wartime Seaplane Station and Bishopstone Station itself. Entry is free, with refreshments and souvenirs available in the main station building.

Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing on Seaford Seafront
A free, family friendly viewing event on Seaford seafront for the deep partial solar eclipse, with the Sun around 91 percent obscured by the Moon at maximum. Committee members will hand out eclipse glasses and set up solar observing equipment, including a hydrogen alpha solar telescope plus additional telescopes and cameras configured for safe solar viewing. The eclipse begins at 6.17pm, peaks at 7.13pm and ends at 8.06pm. Parking nearby is free.
