Autumn Tour through Cuckmere Haven
Join Ranger Lawrence for a walk and talk on the hidden seasonal treasures of Cuckmere Haven. The stars of the show should be the wetland birds, so bring binoculars. Meet at the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre. Wear suitable footwear for the weather and uneven terrain.

East Dean Halloween Ghost Walk
A guided evening walk around East Dean with stories of the village's ghosts and smugglers, including the Black Monk who is said to lure people to their death at Beachy Head and the headless smuggler who appears on the trail around a harvest moon. The walk takes about 90 minutes and covers about 1.2 miles at a moderate pace, over pavements, unpaved paths, residential roads, grass verge and a path with a steep descent, with a stile to climb. Meet your guide Larry at 6:45pm in the overflow car park opposite East Dean & Friston Village Hall (what3words ///coder.proves.deposits); the walk starts promptly at 7pm. Places are limited to 10, so booking is recommended. Joining the walk is at participants' own risk.
