Seaford Bonfire Society

Voluntary community society keeping the Sussex bonfire tradition alive in Seaford. Originally celebrated from at least the 1850s, the modern society was reformed in 2010 and produced its first event in October 2011. Now produces one of the largest bonfire events in the Lewes district, with a torch-lit procession through the town followed by a bonfire and fireworks display at Martello Fields. Also attends and supports bonfire events across Sussex during the autumn season.
