Friends of Bishopstone Station (FoBS)

Community Interest Company working to restore the unique Art Deco Grade II listed Bishopstone Station building and operate it as a community hub. FoBS has over 25 volunteers who maintain the station gardens, host regular community events including Meet Up Mondays (tackling social isolation), Man Space, language classes, yoga, food preparation sessions, and gardening days. The Old Parcel Room Community Hub opened November 2022. FoBS received the King's Award for Voluntary Service in 2025 — the highest accolade for a volunteer group in the UK.
