White Cliffs Wander: Seven Sisters Edition
A 20km coastal hike along the Seven Sisters cliffs from Seaford to Eastbourne with The NikOut Collective, a day trip from London with lunch at Cuckmere Haven and fish and chips in Eastbourne to finish. Approximately 22 km of hilly terrain with two short breaks planned. Sunday 18 October, 8am to 6pm, meeting at London Victoria Railway Station. Guide fee £15, train tickets not included.

Seven Sisters boat trip with Maverick Boat Adventures, departing from Newhaven Marina. The RIB cruises along the Sussex coastline past Tide Mills, Seaford Bay, Splash Point, Hope Gap and Cuckmere Haven to the Seven Sisters cliffs, with tales of the area's smuggling past. Duration 1.5 hours. Ages 2 and over.

Friday Walk: Alfriston-Rathfinny Circular (5.5 miles)
A moderate walk of about 5.5 miles from Alfriston, climbing into open country to the Rathfinny Winery, through the estate with a stop for coffee at their hut, and returning to Alfriston along the river. The walk starts at 10am. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, on lead through the Rathfinny estate.
